I studied Pharmacy at Makerere University. As an undergraduate I liked oncology because it was an area where no Pharmacist wanted to venture, it was a highly specialised area which required a baseline degree and a Masters.
I later went to Ireland for my Masters in Clinical Pharmacy and to UK for a fellowship in oncology.
I found oncology a very exciting area and Pharmacists have a big role to play in making a difference in oncology care.
At present I want to pursue my career in research specifically in cancer biology and immunology.
